A gem in the mountains

The breathtaking mountain views made every morning special. Our suite exceeded expectations with its spacious layout and comfortable furnishings. truly a delightful escape.

However, we were disappointed that the spa was not included with our stay. A little more attention to the dining options could have enhanced our overall experience.

Room amenities were decent and comfortable.

During my stay, I was quite disappointed with the food quality. Breakfast was only adequate, and dinner was a letdown, lacking vegetables and sides for the main courses. I expected more variety and satisfaction from a hotel of this caliber, but it felt very basic instead.

The bidet situation needs attention. the seat cover cannot stay up!!! Also, the lack of shelf space in the bathroom is inconvenient!!! A few more replacements for minibar items would be nice!!!

The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the mountains with mesmerizing views, offering a perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Despite the picturesque setting, the check-in process was disorganized and the room smelled damp, detracting from an otherwise lovely stay.

The room we got was incredible, just the right size with a big hot tub that my partner and I enjoyed every night. The personal service from the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of, especially during breakfast when they made sure we had everything we needed.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but still justified for what we experienced.

The surroundings were lovely for a hike, with trails leading to Mount Gorbea. We loved spending time outdoors while the kids explored safely around the hotel. The staff was friendly and tried hard to make our stay enjoyable.

My kids wished there were more activities for them on-site.

Staying here was a delight as we took advantage of the nearby Gorbeia Natural Park for beautiful hikes and enjoyed the stunning park views that surrounded us during our stay. however, the breakfast selection could be improved.

Staying in the Royal Suite offered stunning views of the surrounding hills, while the large jacuzzi provided a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The peaceful atmosphere, with only the sound of nature, made it a true escape from the galaxy's chaos.

However, some practical issues stood out. The bidet in the bathroom wasn’t very user-friendly due to its position near the radiator, making it uncomfortable to use. The selection of bath salts was limited, with only a small bottle provided for the entire stay. The breakfast, while okay, leaned too heavily on bread and cheese, missing a variety of options like fruits or nuts.

The organic dishes at the restaurant had a real Basque flair, with the foie gras mi-cuit and Iberian pork stealing the show! The Royal Suite was cozy, with a spacious jacuzzi that made for a heavenly retreat.

While the steak was cooked perfectly, it felt lonely without any veggies or sides. The breakfast was just okay—more fruit options could’ve jazzed it up a bit.
